At the sight of this hypercar, even the occasional car enthusiast might no longer know what it is. Although we wrote a report about this car many months ago, we are writing again about this exclusive Japanese hypercar, which has only appeared in Monaco so far.
This brand-new car may still be somewhat unknown to some. This is an Aspark Owl, which was introduced only a few months ago.
The ASpark OWL is a battery-powered sports car developed by the Japanese company Aspark. The goal was to build the fastest electric car capable of accelerating the quickest. The Aspark OWL is the result of these efforts and has an impressive acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 1.69 seconds. The first model of the Aspark, the OWL, is ready for production and can be purchased for 2.9 million euros.
The Aspark OWL is equipped with four electric motors, generating a total output of 1,480 kW and a torque of 2,000 Nm. The battery has a capacity of 64 kWh and a voltage of 800 volts. The range of the Aspark OWL is 450 km. The car can be charged in 80 minutes when connected to a 44 kW charging station.
The design of the Aspark OWL is flat and unusual. The body is made of carbon fiber and is only 99 centimeters high. The Aspark OWL also has a huge rear wing responsible for the downforce on the rear axle.
The Aspark OWL is an impressive example of the future of electric cars. With its incredible acceleration and range, it is a true powerhouse. If you are looking for a fast and powerful electric car, then the Aspark OWL is definitely worth a look! This specimen was the first and so far the only model we have seen here. Let's hope that we can see one or two more in the future.
