Anyone who spent time on social media channels like Instagram and TikTok in the days before Christmas surely came across one of those videos featuring a sports car adorned with fairy lights. Here, we see such a vehicle in a Good Light for the first time.
All the videos could, of course, be seen in the dark, where the fairy lights truly came to life. In daylight, you can then see the incredible work behind it. The fairy lights had to be attached in such a way that they wouldn't come off at high speeds. As we can see here, a small strip of adhesive had to be placed between each LED light. This means that hundreds of adhesive strips had to be stuck to the car, while someone else had to hold the chain in the right place. This definitely involves hours of patient work. Anyone who thinks that's all there is to it is mistaken, as the entire artwork should be taken down in the coming weeks. On the one hand, because the Christmas season is coming to an end in most places, and on the other hand, driving around with fairy lights on the car is illegal.
Removing these fairy lights is likely to be a tremendous task once again because the observant viewer will have noticed the extreme adhesive tapes that were used here and applied directly to the car's paint. If the tape leaves residue, then we wish you a lot of fun scraping off these adhesive remnants.
